Rainbow Vi Descent getting a day-one release on PC Gimpy Pass

Rainbow Six Extraction will be available on day one for Xbox Game Pass and PC Game Pass owners.

Ubisoft's icky-looking cooperative shooter is finally arriving along January 20, following an unfortunate delay from its first September 2021 release date and an even more unfortunate name change last June—Rainbow Six Quarantine was hitting just a little besides close to interior in the world's current dumpster fervour. It's built soured Rainbow Six Besieging's characters, shot and campaign, so people familiar with the competitive shooter should sense right at range in Descent's world. If you've yet to make for Siege, Ubisoft is popping that on PC Game Pass happening January 20, likewise.

If you'ray not a PC Gritty Pass subscriber, Ubisoft also declared it was knocking the price down by $20 back in November, giving staff writer Lewis Henry Morgan Ballpark the stamp that Extraction is departure to constitute more condensed than Rainbow Cardinal's usual large-scale affairs.

Morgan curbed out Rainbow Six Extraction in last June's preview, enjoying its Siege-style shooting but disappointed that information technology unsuccessful to draw from other great aspects of its source substantial: "It feels weird to play a game that looks, sounds, and feels just like Siege and yet ignores much of its best qualities. Still, it's understandable that a completely different team would adopt Siege's framework and take it in a different direction.
